Using the NemaKnights Fungus Gnat control can act as a preventative measure against fungus gnat populations. Beneficial nematodes for fungus gnats allow the issue to be solved at the source as the fungus gnat larvae are eliminated by the nematode once it’s released by the adults. This stops the replication cycle and eventually eliminates the pest once the adults perish.

HOW TO APPLY

NemaKnights™ Biological Gnat Control:

Traditional nematode formulations have been successful but limited biocontrol for over two decades. NemaKnights™ are the next generation biocontrol, with an exclusive 6-month shelf-stable and slow-release formula for fungus gnat, thrips and other garden pests.

Directions:

Use indoors and outdoors in containers, potted plants, hanging baskets and garden areas. To apply, remove the bottle cap and peel off the safety seal. Reattach the bottle cap and flip open the easy flip shaker lid. Shake the product directly onto the soil where pests are present. After application, water plants for the next three days to release the Steinernema feltiae nematodes. For outdoor use, spot treat where pest damage is present. Product may be used for leatherjackets (European cranefly) and leaf minor.

For best results:

Apply 10-14 days after the first application to treat any adult fungus gnats laying eggs. Application Rate: Apply at a rate of 0.5 tsp. (5g) per plant. Storage: Keep product out of direct sunlight. Store at or below room temperature. Disposal: Dispose of the bottle according to local recycling regulations.
